In short

The processing the other half of the Cytodelics system, sold on its own — complete downstream handling (fixation, RBC lysis, wash, freeze-thaw stability) for fresh blood or blood already preserved in the Stabiliser. It does not include the Stabiliser itself — buy this separately when you want a distributed-collection, centralised-processing setup (Stabiliser tubes go to multiple sites; this kit and the processing stay in one lab).

Technical specifications

Fix-Concentrate and Fix-Diluent combine 1:1 to make the Fixation buffer. Fix-Diluent must be stored at room temperature — refrigeration causes irreversible crystallisation.
LYSIS removes red blood cells, but only works together with the Fixation buffer, never alone.
WASH stabilises the pellet and clears lysis remnants, preserving the scatter profile.
No separate permeabilisation buffer is needed for intracellular staining — skipping permeabilisation matched or outperformed commercial perm buffers in testing, and protects the scatter profile.
Can fix PBMCs at scaled-down volumes in a pinch, but the dedicated PBMC Fixation Kit (PF002) is a gentler, purpose-built formulation and the recommended default for routine PBMC work.
