CRYO#20 is what gives an already-fixed sample multi-freeze-thaw stability — the step that makes centralised batch processing possible. Fixed cells go into CRYO#20, freeze, and come back out ready for acquisition without harsh washing steps.

Technical specifications

• Validated to 20 freeze-thaw cycles; most labs never see an issue before 5–6.
• Directly tested to 7 years at −80 °C with no loss of sample quality.
• Short-term refrigeration (5–8 °C) tested successfully past 2 months as an alternative to freezing — if cells were already antibody-stained before storage, check staining index over time, since weaker-affinity clones can drift.
• Compatible with flow cytometric acquisition or antibody staining directly out of storage — no harsh washing steps needed after thawing.
• Not suitable for live-cell cryogenic preservation — CRYO#20 is designed for already-fixed cells only.
